Because I Have Been Given Much

I suppose I never had a faith crisis on the topic of tithing as I've heard of others experiencing in their lives--especially at a point of their initial conversion. I've always been fast to pay my tithing FIRST. And I can tell you story after story of the miracles and blessings that have come from following this commandment. Jesus Christ said, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house; and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it." Now, if this sounds too good to be true, I'm also reminded of Moroni' s words. "I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost."
